Step 01
Upload your AVI file to VEED
Choose your AVI file from your folder after clicking on ‘Choose AVI File’. VEED also lets you drag and drop your video from your library into the editor.

Clip and crop your video to the right size
You can set the aspect ratio of your AVI video to match the requirements of the platform you want to post it to. VEED will automatically crop your video to fit that size. You can choose from square (for Instagram), Twitter and Facebook Landscape, Portrait, and more. Just select your preferred size under Project Settings. You can also use the drag and drop feature to resize your video by moving any of the corners vertically and horizontally. Move the selected area anywhere on the window to capture only that part of the video.

Once your video is uploaded to the editor, you will see four clickable dots on the four corners of the video frame. Press and hold on any of the corners with your mouse or trackpad and move it around until the frame is in the shape and size that you want. You can also go to the Settings menu and select the aspect ratio that you want for your video.

VEED has amazing and easy-to-use video cutting and merging tools that you can use for free. Simply move the timeline indicator on the editing pane, right-click on it and select Split. You can delete parts of the video or rearrange them. To add another video clip, click on the plus (+) icon on the bottom-right of the editor and select the video you want to add. The videos will be saved as one clip when you export your video file.
